Services to Students

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Patrons may initiate a request for materials from any OhioLINK member library. While browsing the OhioLINK central catalog, the user may request an item using their name and an NDC ID number. If immediately available, that item will be delivered to the Clara Fritzsche Library or other OhioLINK pickup location within 3-4 business days.

As a supplement to library and faculty collections, books and periodical articles may be ordered from other libraries for research or reserve use through interlibrary loan. This service is offered free of charge. Please allow two weeks notice when making your request.

Requests may also be submitted via email to the reference librarian — be sure to include complete title, author, edition, publisher, publication date and ISBN.

Reference

The library provides reference assistance to students, faculty, and staff upon request. The Clara Fritzsche Library should be the starting point for all library research done at the College. Every effort will be made to find needed materials through the library’s holdings, its online databases and full-text resources or through interlibrary loan. However, please allow enough time when doing research to ensure that items can be obtained when needed. Contact the reference librarian at ext. 5267.

Bibliographic Instruction

The library provides bibliographic instruction to individuals, classes or groups. Contact the reference librarian at ext. 5267 to set up an appointment or if you are experiencing problems using your borrower account or other library resources. Information packets on the NDC library and OhioLINK are available at the library circulation desk.
