Notre Dame College is thrilled to celebrate 100 years of educational excellence.
NDC is hosting an array of events throughout the year to celebrate a century of success, starting with the Beyond 100 Centennial Opening Celebration.
This festive 100th birthday party will unite students, staff and the community in celebration of the College and what it means to all who are a part of the Notre Dame College family. With a lineup of distinguished speakers and engaging activities, we’ll walk through our history and delve into the qualities that make Notre Dame College an amazing place to learn, work and succeed.

Notre Dame College Beyond 100: MISSION, VISION, TRANSFORMATION
Notre Dame College opened its doors to 13 women and 11 novices on September 18, 1922, called Founders Day. The articles of incorporation for the College were signed and filed with the State of Ohio on March 30, 1923. A semester’s tuition was $75.
On September 18, 2022, Notre Dame will begin a yearlong celebration of its Centennial: 100 years of providing a liberal arts education in the tradition of the Sisters of Notre Dame to diverse populations, including those who may not be able to afford a private college.
In June 1923, the Sisters leased 39 acres along Green Road in South Euclid. A year later they purchased 15 more acres. Construction of the campus began in the fall of 1926. On September 17, 1928, 13 seniors, 16 juniors, 21 sophomores and 32 freshmen began classes in the new Administration Building.

Notre Dame now enrolls about 1,500 students in more than 30 undergraduate majors and several graduate degree programs. Options are available both onsite and online.
