Programs and Events

Creativity Hour/Game Time

A weekly time for creative expression and connection through painting, drawing, poetry, and/or game playing!

Open Space

This group allows students to speak about their experiences. Students share about their struggles (at school, home, or any aspect of life) and receive support and understanding from others. The second purpose is for everyone to learn better listening skills so that the NDC family can become a more supportive community.

ID Groups

We have facilitated various Identity Discussion (ID) Groups that explore race, gender, culture, religion, sexual orientation, and the many other things that make up who we are and how people perceive us.

Bible Studies

Several student-run Bible studies happen regularly on campus. Contact the Campus Ministry Office for information about joining one or starting your own!

Fall Retreat

Every fall we travel off campus to a retreat center where we take a break from school and connect with God, ourselves, and each other.

Worship Symposium

In January we travel to Calvin College in Michigan for a conference on worship, social justice, and the arts.

Busy Student Retreat

During Lent, students can sign up for several sessions of spiritual direction with a priest, sister, or Campus Ministry staff member.
