Ted Steiner

Hello! My name is Ted and I am glad to be serving as the Director of Campus Ministry here at Notre Dame College since 2012. My wife Monica and I have been married more than 25 years and we have three children. Before coming to Notre Dame, I worked as a youth minister for 15 years and, after that, for 5 years at a different college. My favorite part of my work has been involving students in service and organizing trips to orphanages and schools in places like Mexico, Guatemala, and Uganda.

Other interests of mine are contemporary art and music. I would love to do a painting with you or play guitar together.

I am looking forward to getting to know you. Please come by the Campus Ministry Office (CMO) and hang out with us. We have a lot for you to be involved with, and we are interested in your ideas too. If you want to set up a time to get together, send me an email at tsteiner@ndc.edu.

Anita Hooley Yoder

Hi! I’m Anita, and I started in Campus Ministry at NDC in August 2016. I live in Cleveland Heights with my husband, Ben. I attend Friendship Mennonite Church, where I often organize worship services and teach Sunday school. Here at NDC Campus Ministry, I facilitate service projects, lead immersions, support student leaders, and help with everything else we do.

In recent years I’ve worked as a freelance writer and completed a Master of Divinity degree through Bethany Theological Seminary (Richmond, IN). I love good books, good food, and bad Cleveland sports teams.

I also love good conversations! Stop by and talk with me any time, or email me at ayoder@ndc.edu.

Fr. John Blazek

Father John Blazek has been coming to Notre Dame for years to offer the Sunday evening mass for students. He is a Holy Cross priest (same order of priests that started the University of Notre Dame) and serves as the chaplain at Gilmour Academy. He really enjoys coming to Notre Dame to meet with students in the Falcon Cafe as well as celebrating mass as often as possible on campus. Make sure to meet his dog Mindy!

Fr. Anselm Zupka

Father Anselm Zupka is a Benedictine priest and has worked and lived for many years at Benedictine High School in Cleveland, which shares the same property as the Abbey. Currently he teaches German to students there. He comes to Notre Dame occasionally to celebrate the Sunday evening mass and visit with students in the Falcons Nest.

Fr. Edward Mehok

Father Edward Mehok belongs to Notre Dame College much like the iconic tower of the Administration Building. In fact, he joined the College the same year the building’s west wing was completed–in 1961. Father lives on campus and presides at daily mass six times per week. He also serves at a local parish, St. John of the Cross.

Mikel Mahoney

Mikel is our Creative Ministry Associate. He leads our monthly Worship on Wednesday (WOW) service and has helped us refine our mission and get the message across to students. Mikel is a musician, artist, and actor. He runs his own business that produces websites, logos, and print materials. He lives in South Euclid with his wife.
