Ted Steiner

Ted in Uganda

Hello! My name is Ted and I am glad to be serving as the Director of Campus Ministry here at Notre Dame College. My wife Monica and I have been married for 25 years and we have three children – Grace (20), Isaiah (16), and Lauren (8). Before coming to Notre Dame, I worked as a youth minister for 15 years and, after that, for 5 years at a different college. My favorite part of my work has been involving students in service and organizing trips to orphanages and schools in places like Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and Uganda.

I am looking forward to getting to know you. Please come by the Campus Ministry Office (CMO) and hang out with us. We have a lot for you to be involved with, and we are interested in your ideas too. Send me an email if you want to set up a time to get together –

Anita Hooley Yoder

Hi! I’m Anita, and I started as Campus Ministry Coordinator in August 2016. I live in Cleveland Heights with my husband, Ben. I attend Friendship Mennonite Church, where I often organize worship services and teach Sunday school. Here at NDC Campus Ministry, I’m involved with facilitating service projects, leading Immersions, supporting student leaders, and helping with everything else we do. In recent years I’ve worked as a freelance writer and finished a Master of Divinity degree through Bethany Theological Seminary (Richmond, IN).

I’m eager to get to know returning and new students here at NDC! Stop by and talk with me any time, or email me at

We Need You!

  • Work Study Student Employees: We are always looking for work study students for many unique positions that will help you to build real leadership skills.
  • Student Leaders: We are also looking for volunteers to help us plan and lead Campus Ministry events. We have a position for anyone who is passionate about seeing Campus Ministry thrive.
  • Internships: The Harig and Mahlberg Endowed Internships were created to provide opportunities for students to lead and be mentored in Campus Ministry. Interns are compensated each semester with a scholarship and are required to meet certain guidelines. Contact Ted Steiner to discusss this opportunity.
