Notre Dame College celebrated its 88th graduating class on May 12. After a baccalaureate Mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish and commencement speeches by three outstanding students, more than 200 graduates received their diplomas in the College’s Regina Auditorium. Afterwards, they enjoyed a reception on the lawn in front of the Administration Building.

Don’t delay. Classes start soon on campus and online, with terms beginning May 14, June 4, June 14 and June 18. Whether you are a current NDC student, attend another college or are a high school junior or senior, summer is a great time to catch up or get ahead.

Helen Foose Petersen ’38 was a smart and sophisticated economics student at Notre Dame College. She held several leadership positions on campus and was respected by her classmates. Petersen credited NDC for preparing her for an illustrious career with the State Department. To show her appreciation, she left the College $1.19 million in 2001.
