College Credit Policies

Notre Dame College will transfer credits earned through advanced placement (AP) courses or the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) based on the scores earned. AP test scores of 3, 4 or 5 will be considered for transfer. To determine if credit will be granted, the College uses the scoring guidelines recommended by CLEP. Generally a score of 50 or above is required for credit. No more than 32 credits earned through AP, CLEP, portfolio assessment, proficiency exams, independent study and research will be counted toward the 120 credits required for a bachelor’s degree at Notre Dame College.
