Notre Dame College has named Cheryl Biros, DNP, RN, CDP as Director of Nursing, overseeing the Nursing academic division.

Biros comes to Notre Dame College from Ross College, formerly Brown Mackie College, in Canton, Ohio. She served as the RN and LPN program administrator, managing the associate degree of nursing and practical nursing programs.

Biros has a wide range of teaching experience in the nursing profession, from entry-level nursing courses to medical-surgical clinicals. She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice with a concentration in Nursing Education from American Sentinel University located in Boulder, CO, and a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Education from South University in Atlanta, GA. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kent State University.

The School of Nursing offers an on-campus Bachelor of Science in Nursing, as well as an online RN to BSN program and Master of Science in Nursing.

The Notre Dame School of Nursing is the largest undergraduate program at the college based on enrollment. The department has affiliations with premiere healthcare institutions, including the Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals of Cleveland, Metro Health Medical Center, and the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center. Graduates on average earn $63k per year as reported by the U.S. Department of Education.

The RN-BSN program is one of the most transfer-friendly nursing programs in the state of Ohio. All Notre Dame nursing programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
