Notre Dame College once again is planning apar-tee for its athletic teams.

The College is hosting its 21st Falcon Golf Classic to benefit scholar-athletes on Tuesday, June 20, at StoneWater Golf Club, 1 Club Drive in Highland Heights, Ohio. This 2023 event is presented by Anderson Travel & Coach.

The annual fundraiser begins with registration, lunch and the driving range at 10 a.m., followed by a shotgun start and 18 holes in scramble format at 11 a.m. Dinner, awards, presentations and a raffle begin at 4:30 p.m.

The golf game features hole-in-one, putting, longest drive and closest to the pin contests.

Several levels of sponsorships are available:

  • Falcon Sponsor: $2,500
    Golf foursome, plus optional golfer (or a College celebrity), tee signage and five swag bags, including 30 “fish bowl” raffle tickets
  • Blue and White Sponsor: $1,500
    Golf foursome, tee signage and four swag bags, including 20 “fish bowl” raffle tickets
  • Putting Contest Sponsor: $1,500
    Title sponsor of the putting contest with signage display and company product on the practice green
  • Beverage Cart Sponsor: $1,500
    Company signage on beverage cart
  • Hole Sponsor: $100
    Tee signage for company

The Falcon Golf Classic invites alumni, family and friends of the Notre Dame community to get together for golf while supporting the growing needs of student-athletes at the College.

Notre Dame currently supports 16 sports programs and more than 600 students on 20 varsity teams. The Falcons completed their ninth season as a charter member of the Mountain East Conference (MEC) this year. Sports highlights from the 2022-2023 academic year include:

  • The Falcons football team won its fifth consecutive MEC Championship and qualified for the NCAA Division II playoffs for the fourth time this season.
  • The men’s soccer team won 16 total games, including a victory in the NCAA Division II playoffs.
  • The women’s rugby team won a second regional championship and took runner-up in the country.

The cost for an individual golfer is $200, which covers one spot of 18 holes at the golf outing, golf cart, lunch, buffet dinner and one swag bag.
