Students entering the program as a Pianist or Guitarist take weekly, private lessons from professional faculty artists to hone their technique, musicality, and theoretical knowledge. Students perform a 50-minute recital their senior year; an optional 30-minute junior recital is available.
Students who focus on Piano or Guitar can gain ensemble credit by accompanying the NDC Choir or Band, performing on-campus recitals, or performing in weekly NDC church services (Catholic and non-Catholic).
As part of our dedication to Arts Education, Performing Arts Scholarships are available thanks to the generosity of generous donors. This is a remarkable opportunity that NDC offers students, regardless of their academic interests or athletic involvement.
