Come one, come all! Take a break from the daily grind and flock on over to Notre Dame College’s Performing Arts Concert Series with events scheduled throughout fall 2021 and spring 2022.

There’s something for everyone, including plays, music concerts, dance recitals, band festivals and even sporting events. Admissions for most programs are free. All are open to the public.

This year’s series kicks off with Notre Dame Band Day, scheduled for Saturday, October 9, with the College’s instrumental and color guard ensemble performing with high school band members during halftime of the Falcons home football game. The event is free for high school band students and directors who join the Notre Dame marching band with rehearsals starting at 10:30 a.m. in Regina Auditorium, culminating with a joint halftime performance on Mueller Field. The Notre Dame contest against Frostburg State University begins at noon on Mueller Field. All participants in Band Day receive free lunch and College swag. Details for high school students who like to join in are available online.

The College’s marching band will perform with alumni members during pregame of the College’s Homecoming and Alumni Reunion football game Saturday, October 16. The Falcons will take on West Virginia Wesleyan College at 1 p.m. on Mueller Field. This event is free for alumni members who would like to perform with the Falcon Marching Band. Music, flip folders, instruments (as available), Notre Dame band t-shirts and food will all be provided to alumni beginning at 11:15 a.m. in Regina Auditorium. Details for alumni who would like to participate are online.

Spring semester of the concert calendar also will feature a New Music Festival, along with traditional choral, instrumental and dance showcases.
