Notre Dame College Homecoming is here again, with food, football and fun on Saturday, October 1, and will feature a tribute to the College’s celebration of a century of academic and athletic excellence.

To honor the College’s centennial year, officials are expected to use a commemorative medallion for the coin toss prior to the start of the homecoming football game. These collectible coins that feature the Notre Dame 100 years shield emblem on one side and the Falcon centennial logo on the other, will be made available for purchase.

The festivities start with tailgating and Keggs and Eggs behind Regina Hall at 10 a.m. Past grads will have exclusive access to burgers, hot dogs, beverages and free admission to the football game at the alumni table, also in the Regina lot, beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Prior to kickoff, beginning at 11:30 a.m., the Notre Dame marching band, joined by alumni members, will provide a special pregame performance, as well as a halftime show.

The Homecoming game features the Notre Dame football Falcons taking on the University of Charleston, with kickoff at noon on Mueller Field. Those who cannot make it in person can keep up on the action and view live video and stats: Live Video > Live Stats >

Past grads also are welcome to come back to the alumni table at 3:30 p.m. to grab a Homecoming t-shirt and other alumni swag before the end of the game.

The Notre Dame Admissions Office also is hosting a special campus visit event from 10 a.m. to noon, so prospective students and their can enjoy the homecoming atmosphere.

The celebration starts on Thursday, September 29, with a bonfire at 8 p.m. at the campus firepit and continues Friday, September 30, with a pep rally at 7 p.m. on Mueller Field.

Additional details are available online.

Those interested in volunteering to help with the event, can email Colleen Wilson, Notre Dame’s director of alumni relations and annual giving.
