On behalf of the Board of Trustees, faculty, administration and staff of Notre Dame College, we are pleased and honored to extend congratulations to you as a member of the 96th graduating class of Notre Dame College.

Below will be information specific to our graduates who graduated from Notre Dame in August 2019, December 2019 and Spring 2020. If you are a graduate with a degree conferral of August 2020, December 2020, and May 2021, click here for information: NotreDameCollege.edu/academics/graduation/2021-graduates

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Office of Academic Affairs.

COMMENCEMENT TICKETS

Graduates will receive up to two tickets maximum for guests (no exceptions). Due to limited seating, no requests for additional tickets will be taken. After not being able to hold the May 2020 commencement ceremonies due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Commencement Committee has determined that the only way to hold in-person ceremonies this May is to establish very restrictive attendance limits to comply with social distancing guidelines. Please remember that guests wishing to attend Commencement will need a ticket to be admitted. Those who are unable to attend have the opportunity to view the ceremony via a live feed from the Notre Dame College website (NotreDameCollege.edu/graduation).

ATTIRE

Academic Attire includes the academic gown, hood, mortarboard (cap) and black shoes. Boots are not acceptable. Men should wear dark slacks. Women should wear a dress or skirt and blouse (business daytime wear).

Gowns should be clean and pressed by the morning of the ceremony. Since the graduation gowns are made of polyester, ironing directly on it can melt the fabric. Turn the gown inside out and place a white towel over the fabric and iron over the towel on the warm setting. Try not to hold the iron in one spot for too long to prevent scorching.

LINE UP FOR GRADUATES

Graduates are required to be in Keller Gym in the Keller building to line up for the ceremony, at the latest 45 minutes before their assigned ceremony begins. If there is inclement weather, graduates will go right to their seats under the tent in Keller Lot. Graduates will be notified of the rain plan for the lineup via signage on campus and NDC email messaging.

DIPLOMAS

We will be providing certificate holders for the ceremony. You do not need to bring your diploma cover back with you.

Please bring back your honor cords to wear at the ceremony. We will not be providing them at the ceremony since graduates received them in the mail.
