Program Overview: Music Composition
The music composition program at Notre Dame College offers students to explore their musical creativity through dynamic and versatile styles, genres, and performances. Music Composition is offered as a concentration through the Music Entrepreneurship major program. Offerings in this program include private lessons, advanced composition coursework, and the opportunity to premiere student works on departmental concerts and recitals.

Audition Requirements
Music Composition students must successfully audition on their instrument and/or voice for scholarship consideration and acceptance into ensembles. In addition, composers must:
- Interview with NDC theory/composition Faculty
- Successful audition on music or voice portion (see audition requirements)
- 2-3 scores (recordings optional) of original compositions
