Lakewood artist Richard S. Cilhar turned these recycled skateboards into works of art and sold them during the second annual Art on the NDC Circle event on June 23.

Madison Chickos, a senior at Twinsburg High School, won a $40,000 NDC scholarship at The FEST. “I’m shocked,” Chickos said when she was announced the winner on the FEST stage on Aug. 5.

Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid Beth Ford and her team celebrated recruiting more than 500 new students this fall.

Fearless practiced his swing during the 11th annual Falcon Golf Classic at StoneWater Golf Club in Highland Heights, Ohio, on July 16. Over 130 golfers, including a number of local celebrities, participated in the 18-hole scramble, a raffle and live auction. They raised $45,000 for the athletic department.

Notre Dame launched its first ARCH signature classes for freshmen this semester. The ARCH Curriculum is focused on Abrahamic values, responsibility of self, Catholic social justice and humanity. One class put those values on display by volunteering to clean up the Grotto on the southeastern corner of the campus.
