Notre Dame College Puts a Hold on Tuition Costs

Notre Dame College students will not see a tuition increase for the 2019-2020 school year.

Recognizing the burden students and families face with increasing costs for higher education that often lead to significant student debt, the College’s Board of Trustees has approved holding tuition at the same level as 2018-2019. Rates for online courses and graduate programs will also remain the same.

Undergraduate tuition and fees for the next academic year will be $30,160. The total cost for a full-time undergraduate resident student in the underclass halls will be $40,290 before applying scholarships and other forms of financial aid.

Ninety-eight percent of Notre Dame students receive merit and need-based financial aid. Thirty-six percent are first-generation college students, and nearly 50 percent of traditional Notre Dame students are Pell Grant eligible.

“The very mission of Notre Dame College is to serve all students who are dedicated and capable of doing college-level work regardless of their financial situation. Because of this commitment to the mission established here in 1922 by the Sisters of Notre Dame, we enroll and graduate students who are committed to sacrifice and hard work to build a better life for themselves and their communities,” said Beth Ford, Notre Dame's vice president for enrollment. ‘For them, their education here is a life-changing event.”
