Notre Dame College to Give Away Four $10,000 Scholarships at 2018 Christian Festival

For the third consecutive year, Notre Dame College will give away four $10,000 scholarships in conjunction with an annual free family Christian festival.

Notre Dame will award the $10,000 scholarships—each of which is renewable for up to four years—during The FEST 2018, which is from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, August 5, in Wickliffe, Ohio. The College is a main sponsor of The FEST and hosts a tent near the main stage during the event where students can register for the free drawing. Prospective students also can enter for a chance to win the Notre Dame FEST Scholarship on the College website.

Winners of the four scholarships are announced on stage during The FEST, but the students do not need to be present. The awards are valid for full-time undergraduate students who are granted admission and enroll at Notre Dame beginning in 2019, 2020 or 2021.

This is the third year Notre Dame is offering four students a chance to win. The College, a main sponsor of the FEST for years, first awarded a scholarship at the event in 2012.

The Notre Dame FEST Scholarship has no cash value and is not eligible to be used with other forms of institutional aid. To redeem the value of the scholarship, the bearer of the financial aid award letter must present it to the director of admissions upon applying to the College.

Hosted by the Diocese of Cleveland on the grounds of the Center for Pastoral Leadership at 28700 Euclid Ave. in Wickliffe, The FEST attracts more than 35,000 people every year. The event features live national Christian bands, a youth faith rally and opportunities for personal prayer. The day ends with an outdoor Mass shared by thousands at 8 p.m., followed by fireworks.

Event details are online at TheFEST.us.

Prospective students can enter to win the scholarships at the Notre Dame tent during the event or by completing an online registration form.
