Artist Statement

"I maintain every artist has a right to her own point of view, and to express that view in the uniqueness of her own vision without the restrictions of fads, trends, or censure. My work reflects my philosophy in two concurrent themes, one is a protest of injustices inflicted on humankind because of race, color, or creed. In the other I dare to borrow from the greatest artist of all - nature - to portray its resplendent gifts in the phenomenon of the seasons and the constant changes of shapes and colors and harmony."
