Indoor Color Guard About Us

About Us

The Notre Dame Indoor Colorguard was formed in 2010 as a result of the efforts of the Notre Dame College Marching Band in conjunction with the Colorguard staff, leadership, and students. As the Notre Dame College Marching Band continued the development of its style and technique throughout the fall of 2010, the decision was made to offer an enrichment opportunity within the colorguard idiom for the winter season. The application of a Winter Colorguard was a natural outgrowth of the innovation and attention to detail that was developed throughout the band program throughout the second year of its existence.

Notre Dame College Indoor Color Guard is comprised of students from Notre Dame College, as well as students from high schools throughout Northeastern Ohio. As a college sponsored line, the unit competes as an Independent organization in the various competitive groups to which it is associated. NDCICG plans on competing in the Mid-East Performance Association (MEPA), the Ohio Indoor Performance Association (OIPA), and Winter Guard International (WGI).

Notre Dame College Indoor Color Guard, as an outgrowth of the Notre Dame College Marching Band is proud to offer this educational opportunity to students of the college and students of the Northeast Ohio Region as part of an overall effort to enrich the marching arts throughout the area.
