Using creative writing exercises, for example, we taste anger and explore the color of evil. We create poems with scissors and shape characters through actions. Participants vie for chocolate while inventing new languages with slippery sounds and bumpy lumps. Rather than lecture, participants will follow a map to locate buried treasure, build trains, and devise a monster. Blinded in a plane crash, participants must construct a water container according to a friend’s directions.
