About the Author:
Patricia Bertschler, NDC ’81, MA, PCC, enjoys a diverse background with work experience in secondary schools, hospitals, colleges, mediation, counseling and public speaking. As co-owner of Northcoast Conflict Solutions in Independence, Ohio, Patti counsels in private practice, directs business growth and operations and is on the lecture circuit throughout Ohio speaking on topics relating to late life issues and other behavioral and conflict resolution topics. She has a Masters in Counseling and Human Services and is licensed in the State of Ohio as a Professional Clinical Counselor.

About the Author:
Shelley Savren is the recipient of nine California Arts Council Artist in Residence grants, two National Endowment for the Arts regional grants, and two artist fellowships from the City of Ventura. She also received first place in the 1994 John David Johnson Memorial Poetry Award and a nomination for the Pushcart Prize. She lives near the ocean in Ventura, California with her husband, Elijah Imlay, and is a full-time faculty member of the English Department at Oxnard College. |

- Are rarity and value the same thing?
- What is a first edition?
- What do I collect?
- Where and how does one collect?
- How do I meet other collectors?
- Can I use the Internet?
- How do I keep my books in good condition?

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER –
Dr. Kelly is a professor and Chairperson of the Religious Studies Department at John Carroll University and holds degrees from Boston College, Fordham University and Molloy College. He is the author of numerous books, the most recent being The Origins of Christmas (Liturgical Press, 2004), and the editor of several scholarly reference works, including The Concise Dictionary of Early Christianity. Kelly has also written many articles and book reviews appearing in journals and newspapers, including the Plain Dealer. His entertaining lectures on “Decoding the Subtleties of the Best Selling The Da Vinci Code” have attracted capacity crowds throughout the Greater Cleveland area. |
