COLLECTOR’S STATEMENT

"One sometimes hears speculation about why there were so few women artists in the past.  While there are not many female artists recognized for their work in traditional fields such as painting and sculpture, I hope this exhibit will make it clear that very great women artists have been at work in Croatian villages and towns creating incredible, complex, symbolic and beautiful works of art with fabric and thread."
