Summer Term

If you plan to attend summer school at Notre Dame College and want to apply for financial aid you will need to know and do the following:

Things You Need To Do:

Summer Session is at the beginning of the new financial aid year.

1. You must complete the upcoming Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This application is available in the Financial Aid Office and the results must be submitted to us.
2. You must also fill out the Notre Dame College Application for Summer Financial Aid.
3. If required, complete Verification. We will notify you in writing if you need to do this.

Things You Need To know:

• Summer term at Notre Dame College includes Summer Session One and Summer Session Two.
• Using Financial Aid in the summer will reduce the amounts of loan, Pell Grant and Ohio Instructional Grant available to you during the school year terms (Fall and Spring).
• You must be enrolled at least 6 credit hours between Summer Session One or Summer Session Two.
• If you apply for a Federal Loan, your summer loan may be in 2 disbursements. The first disbursement will be posted the first day of the first summer term and the second will be posted half way into the last summer term. At the time of posting, you must be enrolled for at least 6 credit hours.
• When you register for classes you must enroll for all sessions at the same time. No funds will be applied to your account unless you are registered for at least 6 credit hours and the term has begun.
• If you change your registration, you must notify us in writing. Your eligibility for financial aid will have to be recalculated.
