Kim Lane Kim serves as the Director of Career Services and provides individual assistance with major and career-related decisions. She also works with employers to create job opportunities and assists students with the job search process. Kim is a graduate of Ohio University and received her master’s degree from The University of West Alabama. Before arriving at Notre Dame College, she worked in career services at a local community college. She also has extensive industry experience in the human resources and recruiting functions. She brings four years of higher education experience including career counseling, resume, cover letter, and portfolio development as well as career workshop and career fair planning. Jennifer graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Johnson & Wales University, Providence, Rhode Island. Jennifer will be assisting students with the student work study program and the FalconNET job board. She is also responsible for marketing the department. Katie Purcell Katie Purcell is a Kent State University graduate student working towards a Masters of Education, Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel and Graduate Assistant for Notre Dame College’s Career Services Center. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a focus on interpersonal communication and a Minor in Psychology from Kent State in May, 2007. She is currently a member of GRAASP and The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. During her undergraduate career she was President of Kent Communication Society, President of Lambda Pi Eta Honors Fraternity, and Promotions Director of Black Squirrel Radio. Katie is from Munroe Falls, Ohio and graduated from Archbishop Hoban High School of Akron, Ohio in 2003. Katie assists students with resume and cover letter preparation and coordinates on-campus recruiting programs and career-related events.
