Director Jeanne Christian can help you develop study skills and is experienced in math and science tutoring. Peer tutors are upper class students who have achieved A's in their courses and have been recommended by their professors. And many of them are also Education majors with training in teaching techniques. They are familiar with the coursework and can help answer questions on your assignments and course requirements. Want to become part of a study group? You will often find fellow students to work with. And you'll always be welcomed no matter how large or small your problem. There is no charge to you. The Dwyer Learning Center provides free educational support to all Notre Dame students to help them achieve academic success. Where To Find Us The Center is located on the 2nd floor of the Administration Building in Room 205. She also is an adjunct instructor for the MA100/110 classes. Jeanne is a graduate of the University Of Virginia School Of Nuclear Medicine, Myers University with a degree in Health Care Management and Ursuline College with a Master’s in Educational Administration. In addition to 13 years in the health care industry, Jeanne has 10 years experience in higher education working primarily in the remediation/developmental education area. Adjunct English faculty tutors teach the English 100/110 classes and vary by semester and are located in the writing lab room 208. |
