Campus Ministry Mission
Campus Ministry at Notre Dame College promotes the spiritual growth of all students, faculty, and staff associated with the College. Through the Catholic identity of the institution and the charism of the Sisters of Notre Dame, Campus Ministry seeks to foster personal and spiritual growth through which each person grows in their understanding of themselves, God, and the world. This is accomplished through service to the community around us, worship and prayerful experiences, meaningful activities, and community building. |

Liturgy
Liturgy is a central
part of our religious
experience. It is a
broad term that
refers to various
forms of worship.
At the heart of the
Catholic faith is the
Eucharist.
In our
liturgies on campus
we celebrate the
Eucharist regularly.
On campus we have
daily mass in Christ
the King chapel
which are open to
everyone. We also
have a special
student mass on
Sunday evenings at
9:00pm in Providence
Hall chapel for
those who are
interested. We hold
prayer services,
times of reflection,
ecumenical worship
opportunities. |
Service
Service to the community
around us is an essential
way to express our faith
and help others. Growth
in social justice
knowledge and action
are vital parts of Campus
Ministry. We regularly
volunteer with: hunger
centers, tutoring,
building projects, fund
raisers, and more! You
can look forward to
working with the
following agencies or
groups:
- Habitat for Humanity
- Cleveland Catholic
Worker
- West Side Catholic
Center
- Ronald McDonald House
- St. Malachi House
- St. Augustine Hunger
Center
- Cleveland Food Bank
- And More!

Retreats
Retreats are a
great time to
pause from the
business of life,
to reflect, and
renew. These are
times for students
to connect with
each other, relax,
have fun, and
spend some time
learning and
reflecting on a
spiritual topic.
Some common
themes in our
retreats are:
prayer, scripture
reading, and
personal and
group reflection.
Campus Ministry
retreats are open
to any student and
are comfortable. |
