Falcons fall twice in opening weekend
McDowall brings home lone victory

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio - It was a bittersweet opening weekend. After a few delayed matches, the Notre Dame College Men's Tennis team finally kicked off the 2007 season but on a lower note. The Falcons' fell to Malone College on Friday, Mar. 23 and weren't able to bounce back against Tiffin on Saturday, Mar. 24. They are now 0-2 on the season.

Kevin McDowall (Sr/Erskine, Scotland) brought home the only individual win on the weekend when he defeated Malone's Dan Yard (6-2, 6-3).

The NDC racqueteers hit the court again on Wednesday when they travel to Steubenville, OH to take on the Franciscan University Barons at 4pm.
