City slow down
Falcons finish fourth in local meet
CLEVELAND – The Notre Dame Swimming & Diving team competed at the City College Classic hosted by Cleveland State on Tuesday. The Falcons earned a fourth place finish in the four-team event. Gannon (PA) won the meet with three dual meet wins over the Vikings, Baldwin-Wallace and the Falcons.
Maria Buenano (So/Guyaquil, Ecuador) brought home the only medal of the day in the 100 Yard Butterfly as she touched in second place with a time of 1:02.59.
In diving, Gina Gestaldo (Fr/Chesterland, OH) finished fifth in the 1 Meter competition with 152.65 points and garnered 154.55 points, good enough for fourth in the 3 Meter contest.
The Falcons are out of the water until Nov. 29 when they travel to Wooster, Ohio for three-day midseason tune-up at the Wooster Invitational.
