Notre Dame College was defeated in the home opener 1-0 at the hands of Urbana University.

Both teams went scoreless the entire first half.

In the opening minute of the second half, it was the Blue Knights that notched the only goal of the afternoon when Urbana's Amanda Spence snuck one by Falcon keeper Elyse Williamson.

Williamson had six saves on the day. Notre Dame is now 0-1 on the season.
