Soccer trio tabbed as All-Stars
Falcon seniors shine at showcase
Apr. 13: Three Notre Dame Men’s Soccer players competed Sunday in the Ohio Collegiate Senior All-Star Game. Seniors Danny Bartulovic (Gates Milles, OH), David McCaig (Stewarton, Scotland), and Jared Miller (Avon Lake, OH) represented NDC in the game sponsored by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association. The event was held at Capital University in Columbus and included senior players from NAIA and NCAA Division I, II, and III programs. … The NDC trio played on the winning team (Blue), and Danny Bartulovic figured in all three Blue scores – he tallied a goal and two assists.

Soccer signs Shega
May 8: The Notre Dame College Men's Soccer team announced the signing of Eric Shega to a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) letter of intent to play soccer in the fall.
Shega comes to College Road from Peninsula, Ohio where he was a three-year letter winner in soccer at Woodridge High School. He also earned three letters in tennis for the Bulldogs.

Former Falcon pitches in
Mar. 27: The typical first pitch ceremony covers 60 feet-six inches, sometimes less. The ceremonial toss at the Cleveland Indians’ 2008 home opener at Progressive Field, however, will top that. By about 7,000 miles.
Andre Hampton, a National Guard Corporal, Progressive Insurance employee, and former Notre Dame Soccer player, was selected to do the honor as the Indians swing into their 108th season Monday, Mar. 31.
