Notre Dame's Kristin Ulrich earns All-American Honors
Wendy Barker gets first NAIA academic nod

South Euclid, OH - 07/02 - Kristin Ulrich finished up an exceptional senior season for the Notre Dame College Women's Tennis Team, by earning several honors.

Ulrich, playing at first singles and first doubles for NDC, earned NAIA All-American Scholar-Athlete honors for the second consecutive year. She was also a repeat selection on the American Mideast Conference (AMC) Academic Team and a first time selection to the Verizon Academic All-American Region IV Team - earning 2nd Team honors. An accounting major with a 3.95 G.P.A., Ulrich will attend Law School at Michigan State University next fall.

In addition to her academic honors, Ulrich also garnered First Team All-AMC Honors in a vote of conference coaches after finishing the year with an 11-1 singles mark and a 7-4 doubles record with teammate Jessica Byram. During her Notre Dame career, Ulrich posted a 16-4 singles mark and an 11-7 doubles record.

Also earning NAIA All-American Scholar-Athlete honors for Notre Dame was Wendy Barker. Barker, a junior Biology major, carries a 3.83 G.P.A. and was a first-time NAIA selection as well as an AMC Academic Team Selection.
