NOTRE DAME'S CHRISTOPHER LOGAN NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK

South Euclid, OH - September 2002 - Notre Dame College men's soccer player Christopher Logan was named the American Mideast Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week of September 30th to October 6th, 2002.

Logan, a 6'1" freshman goalkeeper out of Stafford High School in Stone, England, is the second Notre Dame player this season to receive the honor. Logan currently leads the AMC in goals against average - giving up a mere .51 goals per game. This season, Logan has only allowed five goals.

The Notre Dame College team received its' first-ever NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) regional ranking this week - standing third in the Region IX polls. The Falcons are currently 9-2-1 and they earned their ranking based on won-loss record, strength of schedule, and votes by opposing coaches.
