Padua Franciscan's Lauren Heath signs with Notre Dame College

South Euclid, OH - February 2003 - Padua Franciscan High School senior, Lauren Heath has signed a letter of intent to continue her fastpitch softball career and education at Notre Dame College next year.

At Padua, Heath has been the starting catcher for the past three seasons and will return to do so for her senior year. Lauren has earned several awards while at Padua including First Team All North Coast League, Second Team All Cuyahoga County, Honorable Mention for the Parma Sun Post Team, and Padua's Team Defensive Award.

Outside of the athletic arena, Lauren's 3.5 GPA has enabled her to garner honor roll status as well as being accepted into the Who's Who Among American High School Students. Heath's extra-curricular activities include, Peer Ministry, Eucharistic Ministry and Key Club. Lauren is the daughter of Jeffrey and Barbara Heath and she plans to major in biology at Notre Dame.
