Women's Basketball Gains Guard in Davidson

South Euclid, OH – July 27, 2005 - Akron native Anita Davidson signed an NAIA Letter of Intent to play basketball at Notre Dame College beginning with the 2005-06 academic year.

The Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy graduate was a four-year varsity player. She averaged nine points, four rebounds and two assists per game for the Lions. During her career, she earned the team Most Improved Award, was an All-PAC Honorable Mention selection and was a team co-captain.

The Merit Roll member chose Notre Dame because of "the friendly people and atmosphere and the opportunity to continue playing basketball."

She plans to major in sports management.
