Butterfield Opts for Volleyball at NDC

South Euclid, OH – July 8, 2005 - This week, Lakewood High School graduate Erin Butterfield signed an NAIA Letter of Intent to play volleyball for Notre Dame College beginning with the 2005-06 academic year.

Butterfield was a two-year varsity player for the Rangers as a defensive specialist. Upon graduation, she attended Cuyahoga Community College for one year, but did not play volleyball.

The former Honor Roll student chose to transfer to Notre Dame because of the individualized attention provided by the school, as well as its size and the opportunity to play volleyball.

She plans to major in education.
