All Roads Lead to NDC for Jonathan Rhoads

South Euclid, OH – July 20, 2004 - Hamilton Township High School graduate Jonathan Rhoads has spent some time at different colleges in the past few years, but may have found what he was looking for all along in Notre Dame College. As a result, the left fielder signed an NAIA Letter of Intent to play baseball for the Falcons.

While in high school, Rhoads was a two-year varsity performer who hit .445 with 12 doubles and three home runs as a senior. He earned Central District Athlete of the Week honors and was a First-Team All-Conference pick. He then went on to the University of Rio Grande before transferring to Urbana University where he was an American Mideast Conference South Division Honorable Mention selection after hitting .330.

Now, after experiencing two other AMC programs, Rhoads hopes the third time is the charm as he transitions into the northern portion of the AMC as Notre Dame begins its first year in baseball with the 2004-05 season.

He plans to major in criminal justice.
