PA Player Heads to NDC for Baseball
South Euclid, OH – August 3, 2004 - Erie, Pennsylvania native Frank Lauria signed an NAIA Letter of Intent to play baseball for Notre Dame College beginning with the 2004-05 academic year. A four-year varsity player at Villa Maria Academy, Lauria was a shortstop and an outfielder for the three-time playoff participants and District runners-up. “Notre Dame offers me the opportunity to further my education and to continue with my baseball career,” said Lauria of his choice to attend Notre Dame College. He plans to major in communications.
