Soccer's Randazzo Scores for News-Herald Distinction

South Euclid, OH - October 10, 2003 - Notre Dame College men's soccer player Vince Randazzo became the first member of the team to be featured as the News-Herald Local College Player of the Week Wednesday.

The sophomore forward scored a goal in the eighteenth minute of the Falcons 3-2 American Mideast Conference (AMC) victory against Saint Vincent College. It was the Padua native's first goal of the season. Head Coach Michael McBride credits the starter as being "the engine of the team" all season.

Randazzo will take the field next in an AMC home game against Roberts Wesleyan College Friday, Oct. 10 at 4 p.m.
