Mentor's Vehovec to Play Soccer at NDC

South Euclid, OH – May 31, 2005 - Local player Michael Vehovec recently signed an NAIA Letter of Intent to play men's soccer at Notre Dame College for the two-time American Mideast Conference North Division championship Falcons.

The Mentor High School player was a center midfielder for the Cardinals' varsity squad this past season. He scored five goals and had four assists for the Division I program.

“Michael comes to Notre Dame College from a great Mentor High School soccer program," said NDC assistant coach Carl Nolan. "He is a promising midfielder that has a great attitude towards the game. Michael is an academically sound student that we are pleased to have added to our squad.”
