Carr Driven to NDC Men's Soccer Program

South Euclid, OH – May 23, 2005 - The Notre Dame College men's soccer program gained another skilled player in Andrew Carr, who will join the Falcons for the 2005-06 academic year.

The Preston, England native was a central defender for Cardinal Newman College where he gained his A-levels. The team was the 2004 National College Champions. Carr also trained and played with Bamber Bridge F.C. reserves.

"Andrew's experience belies his years," said Notre Dame head coach Mac McBride. "He's captained the Lancashire's U-18 team, played three seasons at Burnley Football Club and lifted an Academy National Championship. NDC has been crying out for a top drawer center-half, and in Andrew, that's exactly what we have now."
