Elyria's Taulbee Signs with Falcon Baseball Program
South Euclid, OH – July 20, 2004 - Notre Dame College signed Elyria High School graduate Dustin Taulbee to an NAIA Letter of Intent to play baseball for the Falcons with the upcoming 2004-05 academic year. Taulbee was a middle infielder at Elyria High School and spent two years at the varsity level. This past season, he hit .417 and racked up 22 stolen bases. He garnered such awards as First-Team All-Conference, First-Team All-County and All-Ohio Honorable Mention. Taulbee was also a member of the varsity football team who earned all-conference and all-county honorable mention. He will major in criminal justice as he becomes one of the first members of Notre Dame College's inaugural baseball team. The Falcons will participate within the American Mideast Conference (AMC) North Division as members of the National Intercollegiate Athletic Association (NAIA).
