Falcon Baseball at Jacob's Field
South Euclid, OH – April 26, 2005 - Every baseball player dreams of making it to the big show one day, stepping out of a covered dugout and running on to a lush, manicured field of heaven surrounded by hundreds of fans and seeing his name in lights on the outfield scoreboard.
One week from today, the baseball players of Notre Dame College will have the opportunity for their major league dreams to come true as they play a regular season independent game at Jacob's Field.
Tuesday, May 3 the Falcons play host to John Carroll University at noon and for one nine-inning game, it will be the Falcons living out their dreams. They may not be earning a multimillion dollar paycheck that day, but it will be for the love of the game and the opportunity of a lifetime for the young men of Notre Dame.
