Clearview's Weber Opts for NDC Baseball

South Euclid, OH – May 18, 2005 - Clearview High School senior Anthony Weber had several reasons for deciding to continue his education and baseball career at Notre Dame College.

"It's close and I feel comfortable there," said Weber during his signing of an NAIA Letter of Intent to play baseball at Notre Dame beginning with the 2005-06 academic year. He also liked the financial aid package he was offered.

The three-year varsity player spent time in the outfield, as well as at first base and on the mound. During his time with the Clippers, the team earned three sectional championships, as well as a district championship and district runners-up honor. He also received the team Golden Glove and Golden Arm awards. As a senior, he hit .388 and went 2-3 on the hill.

The Honor Roll member is undecided on a major at this point in time.
