Drotos dives in at NDC
SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – The Notre Dame Women's Swimming and Diving team announed the signing of Megan Drotos to a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Letter of Intent to continue her swimming career with the Falcons beginning the 2008-09 academic year.

Drotos comes to College Road from St. Clairsville, Ohio where she earned three letters in swimming for Wheeling Central Catholic. Coming off a strong senior season at Wheeling Central Catholic, Drotos earned third place in the 50 and 100 Yard Freestyles at the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference meet. She finished first in the same events at the West Virginia Secondary Schools Activities Commission Region I Meet. At the WVSSAC Meet she set the record in the 50 and 100 Yard Freestyle events.

In addition to swimming, Drotos was also a member of the Knights' OVAC runner-up softball team. She also participated in Peer Ministry and Catholic Charities.

The Falcons just completed their second season of competition where they finished in 11th place at the NAIA National Swimming & Diving Championship Meet up from 13th in their first season (2006-07).

Notre Dame College is a co-educational liberal arts institution in South Euclid, Ohio. The Notre Dame Athletics Department sponsors the Falcons' participation in 17 men's and women's sports. The College is affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the American Mideast Conference (AMC), which is the largest NAIA conference in the country.
