SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – The Notre Dame College Women's Lacrosse Team announced the signing of Vanessa Scott to a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) letter of intent to continue her lacrosse career with the Falcons.

Scott comes to NDC from Worthington Kilbourne High School in Columbus. At Kilbourne, Scott earned two letters in lacrosse and was a captain in her senior seasons. In her junior year, she netted over 25 goals on attack.
"Vanessa brings a huge spark to the attack," said Head Coach Candace Taglianetti. "Her aggressive play will be an asset to the team come this fall."
The NDC Lacrosse team just closed out their fourth season with a 12-4 record, including a nine-game win streak mid-season. The Falcons ended 2008 with the championship title at the Falcon Invitational with a 12-6 victory over NAIA member, Lindenwood (MO).
