Falcons sign goalkeeper Phillips
SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – The Notre Dame College Women's Lacrosse team announced the signing of Ally Phillips to a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Letter of Intent to continue her lacrosse career with the Falcons.

Phillips will come to College Road from St. Catharines, Ontario where she garnered a highly decorated club career resume. Most recently, Phillips was named the Most Valuable Goalkeeper and Outstanding Graduating Player from the Ontario Women's Lacrosse Association. While playing for St. Catharines, she was the co-captain of the U19 squad and was awarded Team MVP honors by the St. Catharines Lacrosse Association three times (2005-07).

Phillips has played for several top Canadian teams which travel all over the world for premier recruiting tournaments. In 2007, she was a member of Team Ontario Women's Lacrosse and the U19 Canadian National Team.

The highly-touted goalkeeper also played two seasons between the pipes for the Denis Morris Catholic High School Boys' Lacrosse team.

Off the field, Phillips for a two year member of the Honor Roll and also participated in student government.

"Having Ally join us for next season is great," said Head Coach Candace Taglianetti, "she has a ton of experience in goal and she will really benefit from the collegiate lacrosse experience."

Notre Dame College is a co-educational liberal arts institution in South Euclid, Ohio. The Notre Dame Athletics Department sponsors the Falcons' participation in 17 men's and women's sports. The College is affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the American Mideast Conference (AMC), which is the largest NAIA conference in the country.
