Passig to transfer to NDC
SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – The Notre Dame College Volleyball team announced the signing of Brittany Passig to a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Letter of Intent to continue her collegiate career with the Falcons.
Passig comes to College Road from Lake Michigan College where she was a two year standout for the Indians. In 2007, her team made the Final Four of the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) as well as an appearance in the National Junion College Athletic Association (NJCAA) regional tournament.
Prior to Lake Michigan, Passig was a two-time letter winner for the Niles High School Vikings in Niles, Mich. She was named to the Big 16 All-Conference team and lead the team in blocks and kills as a senior.
She was also a four-year member of the Honor Roll.
The Falcons begin their 2008 campaign on Aug. 22 when they travel to Dearborn, Mich. to participate in the UM-Deaborn. NDC finished the 2007 season with an overall record of 21-14 and an American Mideast Conference-North Division title.
Notre Dame College is a co-educational liberal arts institution in South Euclid, Ohio. The Notre Dame Athletics Department sponsors the Falcons' participation in 17 men's and women's sports. The College is affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the American Mideast Conference (AMC), which is the largest NAIA conference in the country.
