Soccer signs Shega
SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – The Notre Dame College Men's Soccer team announced the signing of Eric Shega to a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) letter of intent to play soccer in the fall.

Shega comes to College Road from Peninsula, Ohio where he was a three-year letter winner in soccer at Woodridge High School. He also earned three letters in tennis for the Bulldogs.

For the Bulldogs, Shega twice earned First Team All-Portage Trail Conference (PTC) and Second Team All-District with five goals and 22 assists over three seasons. He also served as team captain in his senior season.

The Falcon Men’s Soccer team finished the 2007 season with an overall record of 13-4-2 and advanced to the NAIA Regional Semi-finals. NDC earned their fifth American Mideast Conference North Division title since 2001.

Notre Dame College is a co-educational liberal arts institution in South Euclid, Ohio. The Notre Dame Athletics Department sponsors the Falcons' participation in 17 men's and women's sports. The College is affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the American Mideast Conference (AMC), which is the largest NAIA conference in the country.
