Orr to transfer to NDC
SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio –The Notre Dame College Men’s Soccer Team Announced the signing of Justin Orr to a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Letter of Intent to continue his soccer career at NDC beginning in the 2008 spring semester.
Orr comes to College Road from Cleveland State where he was a member of the Viking Soccer team.
Prior to Cleveland State, the 6-1 defender earned four letters at Westerville Central in Westerville, OH. For the Warhawks, Orr earned All-Ohio Capital Conference his junior and senior seasons. As a senior, he was a team captain and tallied six goals and six assists and played in the Ohio All-Star Game. In four year, he notched 14 goals and 17 assists.
“We are thrilled to add Justin to our roster,” said Assistant Coach Carl Nolan, "He's got good size and is a natural lefty. He'll be a very versatile player for the program."
The Falcons finished the 2007 season with a 14-3-2 overall record and advanced to the NAIA Great Lakes Regional Semifinal before falling to Ohio Dominican.
Notre Dame College is a co-educational liberal arts institution in South Euclid, Ohio. The Notre Dame Athletics Department sponsors the Falcons' participation in 17 men's and women's sports. The College is affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the American Mideast Conference (AMC), which is the largest NAIA conference in the country.
