Falcons land on AMC honor roll
SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – The American Mideast Conference (AMC) released their annual Women's Soccer post-season awards. Six Falcons earned conference honors with a program-best three athletes being named to the first team.
Headling the 2007 All-AMC North Division Women's Soccer Team are: Emilie LaMarche (Fr/Rockland, ONT), Ann Brackman (Sr/Madison, OH) and Nikki Tizzano (Jr/Mentor, OH). Natalie Bernot (Jr/Mentor, OH) was named to the Second Team while Caley Prendergast (So/London, ONT) and Jessica Skoien (Jr/Rowland Heights, CA) earned Honorable Mention.
Brackman and Prendergast earn conference recognition for the second time after earning Second Team honors in 2006. Skoien is now a three-time honoree after earning a spot on the Second Team in 2005 and 2006.
These six players have lead the Falcons to a program best 13 wins in 2007. The Blue & Gold are headed to the NAIA Regional Tournament which begins Friday, Nov. 2.
2007 All-AMC North Teams
Notre Dame College is a co-educational liberal arts institution in South Euclid, Ohio. The Notre Dame Athletics Department sponsors the Falcons' participation in 17 men's and women's sports. The College is affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the American Mideast Conference (AMC), which is the largest NAIA conference in the country.
