Maryland native signs with NDC Lax
SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio –The Notre Dame College Women’s Lacrosse team announced that Amanda Pedevillano has signed an official NAIA Letter of Intent to play for NDC for the 2008 lacrosse season.
Pedevillano, who comes to NDC from Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bethesda, brings strong club experience to College Road. A nifty attacker, Pedevillano played four season of club lacrosse; two with CC Lax and two with MD Stars.
Off the field Pedevillano has been involved with many community service projects and causes. Amanda has served as a volunteer for the Prader-Willis Syndrome Association, as well as a clothing drive organizer for one of the parishes in the Washington DC Archdiocese.
“Amanda’s club experience speaks for itself,” said Head Coach Candace Tagianetti, “She has played with and against some of the best players in the country. Her knowledge of the game will help to add depth to the 2008 squad.”
The Notre Dame Women’s Lacrosse team finished with a 12-4 overall record in 2007 which included a ten game win streak. NDC opens the 2008 season in February during their annual spring break trip to Florida.
